Pole Dancing and Chest Infections
I've been battling with a chest infection for almost two weeks now, I just can't shift the last of it, that plus my day job have meant things have been quiet on the Ruby Jewel front these last few weeks.
I had my pole class on Monday, after missing three due to illness! (I need a new immune system) and I am really happy to see some progress! On my splits based moves and holds

Another Trip to London
Last weekend I was London bound again for a series of fun events and frolics with friends. I'd been ill for a week beforehand so I was really looking forward to having some fun.
I started off on Friday afternoon with a shoot with Ben Hopper, we've been trying to arrange something for months so it was great to finally get it done, I went to Bens studio in Hackney Wick, which was a really interesting place, an old industrial estate taken over by artists.
After that I headed over to Kash R Photography's place where I was staying along with Emilia Vile and Alice Bizarre, after a spot of dinner and abit of time to relax we were ready and off again to Antichrist.
It was the Religious Depravity party which I was the poster girl for and I wore my Fetasia Latex nuns outfit on the night, I had alot of compliments on it and people recognized me from the flyer which was lovely.
I had a fab night and bumped into lots of friends.
Here I am looking abit gormless with the gorgeous Whiplash and Emilia Vile and a bony gentleman in a cage ;)
We headed back via MacDonalds for a few hours sleep before an early rise for a group shoot at Murder Mile Studios, I've wanted to shoot there for ages, as they have some wicked sets.
It was quite a small group, with me, Emilia, Maja Stina, Luna Eve and Princess Flower modelling and photographers Nick Atkins, Kash R, Tony Brown and Cole Black filming for LatexGirlsHD
Luna Eve is also the creative behind Am Statik Latex and she brought a load with her for us to model so I was like a kid in a candy shop!
Especially getting to wear her Ponycorn outfit which was a total dream come true! I've loved it for ages.
The models posing with Kash at the end
Once shooting was over it was time to head back home, I didn't get in till almost midnight and with only 4 hours sleep the previous night, I was completely knackered and slept most of Sunday too.
Bring on the next London visit

Disney and Beauty shoot
So today was my first major shoot of the year after a bit of a break in January, I was itching to get back into it today, I don't think I'll leave it that long again.
I headed to Shropshire to shoot with Salleh Sparrow, along with Hair by Hedrock and makeup by Sophie Bebb, the first part of the day was a Disney villain themed shoot, where I was playing captain Hook.
Such a glamorous life I lead!
Gotta love a head full of rollers and face full of slap! Classic.
The Hook outfit was amazing, including a Jacket by Lovechild Boudoir and gorgeous leg harnesses by Louise McKay, and my suede over the knee boots finished it off so well.
I also got to wear Sallehs disco pants and oh my god! I need to get some of those so comfy and the look amazing!
We went to a stunning location with some nautical props for the first part and it was the most vile weather, I got soaked walking from the car to the house and my boots covered in mud! But it was all worth it
The full Hook outfit, it was definitely worth getting, wet, cold and muddy to achieve the end result of this.
We did eventually retreat back to the home studio to do some beauty shots, which was a tad more comfortable.
Sophie Bebb's amazing makeup really packs a punch in these shots.
I was lucky to have a really smooth train journey to Shropshire and back, relying on trains can be horrible sometimes but luckily not today, having a huge bag of Maltesers to myself certainly helped.
Here is my post shoot face about to go for the train and scare the Sunday passengers.

What do I hope to achieve in 2013
I have been thinking about whether I want to do one of these 'New Years Resolution' posts, I don't really like the idea of them, but, there are things I am going to fight to achieve this year.
I hope I can look back at this post this time next year and be in a much better place.
Here they are, in no particular order.
I hope I can look back at this post this time next year and be in a much better place.
Here they are, in no particular order.
- Finally get in control of my Anxiety and Depression disorders that have been plaguing me for years, I understand that they'll never go away completely, but I need to be the one in control of them, not them in control of me! I can do it. (this is not something I really ever speak about and not many people are aware of the issues I have with it)
- Earn some money in 2012 I didn't really make any profit at all, I was doing a college course and putting in the groundwork for my career (s) this year needs to change.
- Move into my own flat I am dying to get my own place, however modest it may be, it'll be mine.
- Keep up with my modelling I am so happy with what I have achieved in 2012 in my modelling career and I want to continue at that level through 2013, I don't believe I've reached my peak with it yet.
- Get back into Pole Dancing Ever since I suffered a pole - related injury over a year ago I haven't got back to the level I should be at, I haven't been able to afford lessons and although I have my own pole I've been really slack! I aim to be more motivated to practice regularly and keep up with my stretching and strength exercises to keep me in good condition.
- Pass my driving test and get a car The getting a car part may be harder than I am hoping, but I aim to at least pass my test this year, no matter how many attempts it may take, I know I can do it.
- Read more I want to read a lot more than I have this year, I think it's important to expand my knowledge about the things I love.
- Do more of my Illustration/Artwork Since I gained my degree in Illustration I haven't really progressed any further with it. I want to change that this year, push myself to produce the kind of work I am capable of and maybe even start an online shop.
- Work with more talented people I really hope that I get to work with more creatives, photographers, models, designers and artists, as well as continuing collaborations with those I worked with last year, I think I have the potential to do so much more in collaboration with some super talented people.
- Make an effort to see Friends more often and make some new friends Friendship is the most important thing in the world and this year I hope to see more of the people I consider friends and make some new friends too.
Here I am on New Years Eve, hopefully the start of a positive year!

2012 review
So 2012 is almost over, I've had a really mixed year, some incredible highs and some of the biggest lows as well. But I've fought through and achieved some things i'm really proud of.
2012 has been my best year in modelling so far, and I hope I can go onward and upward in 2013.
Looking back over the year I've been so lucky in who I've got to work with, the fun I've had and the friends I've made, let alone the wonderful creations I've been lucky enough to wear for designers.
I'm going to re-cap my highlights of the year, which will be hard to whittle down as all my modelling work this year has been so much fun and I've learned so much too!
Fetasia Latex, Alex Mills and Albino Jacks
Early on in the year I commissioned a Latex Nun outfit from Fetasia Latex which is just stunning and I traveled over to Cardiff to shoot it with one my favourite photographers Alex Mills we got some amazing images which have been pretty widely used and published this year, these two are probably my favourites.
Shooting with Lady Gaius and Fetasia Latex
I traveled all the way to Luton to work with the wonderful Lady Gaius shooting a beautiful autopsy body suit for an erotic book that will hopefully be published in 2013, I can't wait to see it. I got on really well with Lady Gaius and hope to work with her again, even though she's so far away.
Here is a little preview, you'll have to get your hands on the book to see the rest.
Rubber Monkey Latex and TwistedPix
I got to work with the amazing Rubber Monkey Latex for the first time in 2012, I was picked to be the Flying Monkey from the wizard of Oz for the promo material and the stage show, I was so chuffed and I got to meet such a wonderful group of people working on this project.
I met the amazing Bekah and Shaun from TwistedPix and Kaykay Sakura for the promo shoot, and of course Em from Rubber Monkey who is just a bubble of pure joy.
Shooting with Salleh Sparrow
Soon after this first meeting with Rubber Monkey and TwistedPix I met the gorgeous, scrummy Salleh Sparrow to shoot more Rubber Monkey Latex in the most stunning Location I've used this year. Salleh and I have shot a few times this year, including shooting outfits by one of my favourite Latex designers Eustratia Latex

Night at the Movies stage show for Rubber Monkey
In 2012 I took part in my first ever stage shows, and I'm now addicted to being on stage. The Manchester Alt and Burlesque Fair was our first show for Rubber Monkey Latex in a 'night at the movies' with lots of iconic film characters coming to life in latex. We also performed a Candy shop pin up show and we took 'A Night at the Movies' to Birmingham in a charity Burlesque show for openMINDed.
The Manchester show was filmed by Cole from LatexGirlsHD, which was a huge bonus. Here's one of the video's he took.
The Birmingham show was captured by Dave Charsley of DeclineGothica and TwistedPix so we got plenty of fab images from all the shows we did.
Rubber Monkey Latex Carebears shoot
One of my favourite shoots this year has to be the big group Carebear shoot all the models involved were just lovely to work with and of course the shoot was done by Bekah from TwistedPix who is fast becoming a good friend of mine.
The images were used for a calendar in aid of the charity MIND
I was so happy to work with these amazing models, Betty Havok, Salleh Sparrow, Collette Von Tora, Crimson Raine, Kaykay Sakura, Dakota Hunt, Miss Erised
I took a video of the shoot
We also got a little spot in Bizarre Magazine
Lux Tenebrae and TwistedPix
It was an honor to get to model some of the beautiful leather garments by Lux Tenebrae again shooting with Bekah from TwistedPix, I always have so much fun shooting with Bekah and Shaun from TwistedPix and hope to shoot with them more in 2013.
London Fetish Weekend for Lady Allura's Latex
I was over the moon to be picked to walk at London Fetish Weekend for Lady Allura's Latex, I traveled down with my friend Eliza Fetish and met Kash R Photography who kindly put us up for the night.
We had makeup done by Alice Bizarre and hair by Lauren Turner, it was an amazing show and Lady Allura won the New Designer Award which was a bonus.
The event was photographed by Daffyd Owen whose event photography I've always admired so that was lovely. I loved getting the chance to meet the super lovely Ivy Tenebrae, and Abbie Mac I got on so well with them both, such a shame they live so far away!
Shooting with Cinnamon Stewart
Cinnamon Stewart is definitely the best photographer to make a name for herself this year in the Alternative world and I was so honored to get to work with her, I had some stunning outfits by Westward bound, Joy Williams and Fetasia Latex to shoot, the results were fantastic, It was so hard to pick my favourites.
I got some fun video footage of this shoot by setting up my camera on an ancient tripod, my followers seem to really enjoy seeing behind the scenes of shoots and I loved editing this video, I hope to do some more soon.
Getting Published in Bizarre Magazine
Bizarre mag really is 'the place to be' for publication in the Alt world, so i was lucky to be published in issue 195 in October this year, I had two full page pictures which was a wonderful surprise, they chose images by TwistedPix and Salleh Sparrow, here's to making the pages of bizarre again next year!
Collaborations with Messy Vignette
My Boyfriend Messy Vignette creates some incredible iphoneography, appearing in exhibitions in LA and London this year, we have teamed up a few times to do some shots and they've been a great success, here are my highlights.
Rubber Monkey Latex Performance at Club AntiChrist
The end of October saw me back in London for the Halloween Antichrist party, Rubber Monkey put on a Demons show and I got to work with some good friends again and also meeting and working with Ruby True and Violeteyes was great.
The stage ended up covered in fake blood and we were all writhing around in it and ended up covered!
Ending the year with a shoot with Chris Sinn
I squeezed in a shoot with Chris Sinn Photography on 22nd December and got some seasonal pictures in a dress by Catalyst Latex I also shot some Lady Allura's Latex and a Harness and Pasties by new company Lodovica Leather who have been producing some wonderful leather items this year, pictures from that shoot to come soon, but here is a festive treat.
And Finally...... Club AntiChrist Flyer
I've ended the year on a real high, at the very end of December 2012 the new Club Antichrist Flyer comes out with me on! Since I started modelling I've wanted to make it on an Antichrist Flyer so I am mega chuffed to have made it, it's the cherry on top of a great modelling year.
The Event in February is Religious Depravity themed and they have used my shots by Albino Jacks in the Fetasia Nun gear,
It really has been a fantastic year for me, I am so blessed to have met such lovely people, all mentioned above, and there are many more shoots and collaborations I was not able to include in this summary, but I have loved every one, so if you have been missed off here, rest assured I have really loved working with you!
I'm ready to hit 2013 hard and hope I can continue to climb in the industry, because I am just loving every minute of it.
