Another Trip to London

Last weekend I was London bound again for a series of fun events and frolics with friends. I'd been ill for a week beforehand so I was really looking forward to having some fun.
I started off on Friday afternoon with a shoot with Ben Hopper, we've been trying to arrange something for months so it was great to finally get it done, I went to Bens studio in Hackney Wick, which was a really interesting place, an old industrial estate taken over by artists.
After that I headed over to Kash R Photography's place where I was staying along with Emilia Vile and Alice Bizarre, after a spot of dinner and abit of time to relax we were ready and off again to Antichrist.

It was the Religious Depravity party which I was the poster girl for and I wore my Fetasia Latex nuns outfit on the night, I had alot of compliments on it and people recognized me from the flyer which was lovely.
I had a fab night and bumped into lots of friends.

Here I am looking abit gormless with the gorgeous Whiplash and Emilia Vile and a bony gentleman in a cage ;)

We headed back via MacDonalds for a few hours sleep before an early rise for a group shoot at Murder Mile Studios, I've wanted to shoot there for ages, as they have some wicked sets.
It was quite a small group, with me, Emilia, Maja Stina, Luna Eve and Princess Flower modelling and photographers Nick Atkins, Kash R, Tony Brown and Cole Black filming for LatexGirlsHD
Luna Eve is also the creative behind Am Statik Latex and she brought a load with her for us to model so I was like a kid in a candy shop!
Especially getting to wear her Ponycorn outfit which was a total dream come true! I've loved it for ages.

Once shooting was over it was time to head back home, I didn't get in till almost midnight and with only 4 hours sleep the previous night, I was completely knackered and slept most of Sunday too.

Bring on the next London visit

Birmingham Alt and Burlesque Fair

This weekend I was at the Heresy N Heelz Alt and Burlesque Fair, this was my third time at the event, although the first time I wasn't on stage.
I was promoting my good friends from TwistedPix on their stall, along with wonderful models Collette Von Tora and Miss Dakota Hunt who I have enjoyed working with quite a few times this year.
Me and Collette were clad in the awesome handmade harnesses by Lodovica Leather

We were also joined by Dea another TwistedPix model who was there to do some promo too, we even had buckets of sweets to hand out the the public! I think I ate more than I handed out.

The event was abit quieter than it has been before, but I think that was partly down to the terrible weather! The floods here have been pretty bad, I had to cancel a shoot in Bristol today, but it will be postponed, thankfully, as I've wanted to work with the photographer in question for ages now.

I think the highlight of the fair for me was the amazing stall by Devin Delinquents, its a shame I didn't have any spending money cause there was just so much stunning jewellery.

I particularly love this wicked tooth necklace

She also does some pretty special head pieces too! This beauty is modeled by my scrumptious friend Salleh Sparrow. So head right on over to their Big Cartel shop and take a look.

Beauty

Well, I had a really awesome month in October, not only did I have TWO huge stage shows, including the amazing Antichrist, I was also published in Bizarre magazine, including a full page picture!

So far November has been pretty quiet compared, hopefully from tomorrow that will all change, as I am shooting an amazing leather harness I've had handmade for me, it looks stunning! Plus my rubbery outfits from the October shows.
I will also be milling about at the Alt and Burlesque Fair in Birmingham on the 24th promoting TwistedPix, I hope to see some of you there.

Ok, so I've been asked a few times about my beauty regime, I certainly don't do anything extreme, its all pretty basic really, my top tips would be,

1. Drink plenty of water, I pretty much only drink water now
2. Get plenty of sleep, that keeps my complexion looking fresh
3. Moisturize everyday to keep the skin in good condition
4. I take cod liver oil capsules, they help my hair, skin and nails stay in top condition
5. Don't wear too much makeup!!

Obviously I wear alot of makeup if I'm on stage or shooting, but in day to day life I don't wear too much, I love a simple, retro/pin up look, with red lipstick if I'm going out.
Just some concealer if I need it, liquid eyeliner, eyebrows penciled in a little, black mascara and abit of eye shadow.

As for the products I use, I don't use anything overly expensive as I don't think those products are worth the money at all, here are some of my favourites.

I use this Vitamin E moisturizer from Superdrug every day, it is SPF 15 which is important to protect skin from the sun, especially as I like to maintain my pale complexion. I always have at least SPF 15 on in the summer months.

My favourite facial scrub is Biore pore unclogging scrub, its divine. Unfortunately I've been finding it harder to get hold of, as it keeps disappearing from my local chemists, I have used it for years and its been wonderful on my skin.

This is the hair protection spray I use for heat protection, its Superdrugs own brand and works just as well as the more expensive ones. Its vital to use a heat protection product for blowdrying, tongs and straighteners, my hair goes very dry with damaged ends if I don't use it.

I've had alot of comments on my eyebrows and questions on what pencil I use, well I've fallen in love with this one by Rimmel, I use it in Black/Brown, as its not as harsh as black but is dark enough to go with my hair colour. The main thing I love about this is the brush on the lid, it makes it so easy to get the perfect arch.

Those are a selection of products I use everyday, there are afew more which I will post another time, but I hope that is useful to anyone who has asked me about this.
Let me know if you have any questions or anything specific you would like to see a blog post on.

Behind the scenes videos

I've recently started enjoying making behind the scenes videos on my shoots, I haven't done many yet, only two in fact! I hope to do some more though, as they seem to go down well.
I made one last week on my shoot with Cinnamon Stewart Photography, its nothing special, as I had to set up a tripod to get the footage, but I like it, and it does give an idea of what its like when I shoot.

One I did earlier in the year was a very fun little video to go with the care bears group shoot I did with twistedPix for Rubber Monkey Latex. There were models involved so it made a very cute little video

In other news, I have three different pictures published in the new Issue of Bizarre Magazine, it hits the shops tomorrow, so do be sure to pick up your copy and check me out! I have a full page in the Ultravixens section and a pic on the Yourbizarre front page, as well a sneaky care bears group shot on the letters page.

London Fetish Weekend Behind the Scenes

I'm currently wrapped in my hoodie and curled up in my duvet, as I am recovering from the wonderful weekend I've just had.

I went down to London on Thursday night with my gorgeous friend Eliza-Beth and Kash from Model Ink UK
Eliza did my nails with french tips, which looked absolutely stunning, I loved having glam nails for once.

We stopped en route for a much needed McDonald's.

The next morning we were up bright and early and Southwark bound to prepare for the Catwalk show, we arrived and met the other gorgeous models and I finally got to meet the super talented Allura Fox from Lady Allura's Latex
We were fitted in our outfits and did some quick walk through's, there was a real buzzing atmosphere and the venue, PULSE London was gorgeous.

I had my Makeup done by the wonderful Alice Bizarre, I love working with her, she is so fast, yet produces amazing stuff. The hair stylist Lauren Turner did an amazing job too.
By 11pm we were busy getting ready to hit the stage.

EEeeek, almost showtime! I had a few flutters of nerves and a huge adrenaline rush, I love nothing better than being on stage.

The show was fantastic! Unfortunately I didn't manage to see the other designers shows, so I'm hoping to see video footage and pics from the show soon, I shall share those with you as soon as I receive links.

We got brilliant feedback on the show :) and to top it all off! Lady Allura was announced as the winner of the New Designer of the Year award!! She was up against two other amazing designers, so it was a real achievement and hopefully us models went someway in swaying the judges in her favor, she really deserved to win.

We were done with the hard work by about 2am, after that we had a wonder round the club and me and Eliza got up on a podium for a dance.
Eliza lent me the most beautiful latex leggings and Jacket by Joy Williams to wear after the show :)

Kash got a sneaky shot of us wiggling about.

All in all the whole thing was fab! Tiring but so worth it! I met some great people and got to work with loads of gorgeous ladies, what more could a girl want.

I think I hit the sack by about 5am, we managed to drag ourselves home on the train on the Saturday  afternoon.

I ended up bringing back a bag full of latex to shoot! The Joy Williams outfit and my catwalk outfit too!! Plus a couple of hand me downs from Eliza (her wardrobe is TO DIE FOR) I also came home to a parcel from Fetasia. I need to get the lot in the bath to wash now and get it all shoot ready :)

It never ends, but I'm certainly not complaining.
Thanks again to Kash for putting us up in his lovely flat.

Self Portraits

I set up the camera today to do some self portraits, I found my dads old tripod so I didn't have to balance the camera on top of the telly for once. I haven't really done any decent self taken pictures before, and to be fair I wouldn't really call these decent, but they are pretty much what i was trying to achieve, as I don't really know much about using a camera, even though I got a photography A Level.

I thought I'd just go with my random mismatched underwear and hoodie, for some 'natural' shots.

After spending 3 hours taking the pics I packed away and popped them onto the computer, only to find most of them were out of focus! (no idea how I got that A Level) However I did manage to salvage a few and put these together.

Although they could do with a ton of improvement I like them :) and when I move into my own flat I think I'll be taking a whole lot more.
